Manager Corporate Brand Management - Corporate Brand Design
The Position
Join our team as a Corporate Brand Manager and play a key role in driving the global expansion of our corporate brand. Do you have a deep strategic understanding of brand management and a passion for brand design, are thinking on your feet, and driving change through collaboration? We're excited to invite you to join our team at Boehringer Ingelheim. Your expertise will be key in implementing and operationalizing our corporate brand.
Tasks & responsibilities
- You will support the activation and operationalization of the Corporate Brand Identity, empowering the organization through consultancy and by building a comprehensive library of brand assets.
- Leveraging your knowledge of technologies and tools as well as your experience in design management, you will ensure the consistent application of the Corporate Brand across all functions, businesses, and geographies at every touchpoint.
- In addition, you will provide strategic design counsel and guidance to assess and adopt evolving branding and design needs. Collaborating closely with other functions within Corporate Affairs and senior management, you will ensure alignment with Boehringer Ingelheim’s Corporate Brand Identity and brand architecture.
- Your expertise will enable you to actively contribute to the evolution and governance of the Boehringer Ingelheim Corporate Brand, ensuring it supports current business needs while fostering future growth.
- By working closely with other teams, you will gather valuable insights and establish feedback loops. These will inform the organization about the success of its branding activities and help to continuously optimize the Corporate Brand.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design, Design Management or a related field, paired with several years of proven work experience, preferably in a matrixed organization (e.g., in an agency or consultancy)
- Strong knowledge of brand identity and management topics, including design system approaches, and a profound understanding of applying design tools and/or software
- Very good knowledge of governance approaches and how to ensure consistency across geographical and functional layers
- Excellent interpersonal and consultancy skills, paired with an innovative and creative mindset with a strong focus on strategic design topics
- Ability to achieve objectives and deliver results within quality, time, and budget constraints
- A collaborator who prefers an inclusive approach over self interests
- Natural curiosity and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Strong command of English required and a good command of German preferred
