Manager Controlling - IT

Tasks & responsibilities
- In your new role, you will proactively provide advice to corporate business partners within the IT Controlling on all financial and controlling-related purposes keeping in mind consequences for existing targets and reporting requirements.
- With a deep understanding of financial and IT processes, you will collect and align requirements for financial planning and reporting, including their implementation in the system.
- You will be responsible for team processes consolidating Finance related data. This includes monitoring the setup of systems, ensuring its completeness and accuracy and analyzing and implementing opportunities to automate financial data, driving improvements of status quo and guidelines.
- Furthermore, you represent Controlling at Business Partner meetings of the supported IT areas.
- Moreover, you will be part of international projects in Finance supporting their design and execution.
- Assuming key user roles, you will continuously improve our processes and systems (e.g. automation).
Requirements
- Diploma or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT or comparable
- Several years of experience in Finance & Controlling roles
- Profound knowledge in Financial Layers of planning and reporting systems including SAP, BCS, MS Excel paired with IT affinity especially concerning optimizing reporting
- Extensive project management experience
- Good analytical skills paired with strategic and long-term thinking as well as a business partner-oriented mind-set
- Knowledge of both internal and external accounting combined with a good understanding of tax related and legal matters
- Flexible and team-oriented working style with tenacity and willingness to work within an challenging environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, language skills in German are a plus
- Location Ingelheim, with office presence > 50%
