Manager Controlling - Corporate Group Functions
The Position
We are looking for a Manager Controlling - Corporate Group Functions to take on a Central controlling role within Group Functions, combined with a Finance Business Partner responsibility for Strategy & Consulting and globally governed Sustainability initiatives (SD4G).
The role combines operational and strategic Controlling tasks with strong central governance and coordination responsibilities. It includes Finance Business Partnering, central controlling responsibilities across Group Functions, and contributions to cross-functional projects and improvement initiatives. The focus lies on process enhancement, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Tasks & responsibilities
- In your role, you will act as a trusted Finance Business Partner for Strategy & Consulting as well as globally steered Sustainability initiatives (SD4G). You will provide financial insights, analyses, and critical evaluations to support strategic decision-making processes. By translating strategic initiatives into financial implications, you will ensure transparency and contribute to the organization’s success.
- You will support management by overseeing planning, forecasting, outlooks, and performance monitoring. Additionally, you will take responsibility for analyzing the Income Statement (P&L) at the Group Functions level, offering guidance on content, closing, planning, and actual monitoring processes. This will enable effective financial business steering.
- Your responsibilities will include planning, budgeting, outlooks, and reporting for key financial areas, such as Group Functions P&L positions, Corporate Center P&L, and Global Overhead Cost positions. You will coordinate the planning calendar for budgets, forecasts, and outlook cycles, ensuring alignment with the respective Functions and Businesses involved.
- As a central interface, you will collaborate closely with Corporate Functions, local country controllers, and Business Units. You will ensure consistent financial logic, methodologies, and timelines across the organization, providing clear guidance, governance, and coordination for all Group Functions.
- You will prepare management-ready analyses, reports, and presentations to support decision-making at the highest level. Furthermore, you will lead or actively contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives, focusing on process improvements, efficiency and effectiveness gains, as well as the harmonization and simplification of finance processes.
- Finally, you will play a key role in supporting transformation initiatives within Finance and Controlling, driving innovation and continuous improvement across the organization
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Comparable degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other similar degrees
- Multiple years of relevant work experience in Corporate / Group Controlling or other Finance & Controlling areas
- Several years of relevant work experience with a solid understanding of P&L structures, planning and forecasting processes and corporate governance and financial steering
- Structured, proactive, and solution oriented working style
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial topics clearly to non-finance stakeholders, as well as proven ability to work with senior leadership
- Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking); additional languages are a plus
