Your skills, your experience and what makes you who you are

  • You have recently completed a master’s degree with an economic background. A background in chemistry, biology or a similar area is even better.
  • Some practical experience in purchasing, accounting or controlling would be ideal too.
  • It is also useful if you have already spent an extended period abroad.
  • Your English must be flawless. If you also speak German or some other languages, then all the better.
  • Our trainee program is designed with an emphasis on nurturing young professionals, and the diverse rotation experience will empower you to uncover your inherent strengths. If you already possess some professional experience, please still feel free to apply.

Things to look forward to

  • You’ll be facing some very exciting topics and activities. For example, we launched the world's first drug for generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP), a rare, severe skin disease. You might even get the chance to meet our quantum computing experts. Remember, though, whatever the area, you’ll be viewing everything from a Purchasing perspective.
  • And what else? You and your fellow trainees will get the chance to take part in lots of seminars on, for example, change management as well as negotiation and leadership training. There will of course also be ample opportunity for after-work activities too.
  • Once a year, the trainee circle organizes a big get-together – the ‘Trainee Days’ – in Ingelheim, Vienna or Biberach.
  • We’ll offer as much support and assistance as we can with things like arranging your work visa, looking for an apartment and so on.
  • After two successful years in the trainee program, we’ll then work with you to find the position that best suits you within our company.
