As the world leader in the production of innovative medicines, we at Boehringer Ingelheim offer you the opportunity to get to know the many tasks of Process Management in the area Management Accounting/Controlling. You accompany us at GBS PM Management Accounting and take responsibility for supporting the design and optimization of global processes such as Income Statement, Cost Accounting, Secondary Business Invoicing, Product Costing, and Inventory Accounting. You will gain valuable insights into international project work and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes.


You will gain an insight into the following topics and areas of activities: 

  • Support your colleagues in exciting projects, process optimizations, and documentation tasks within Management Accounting.
  • Gain exposure in various topics and processes within Process Management, including Income Statement, Cost Accounting, Product Costing, and Inventory Accounting.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from our international network.


Your Profile:

  • Student in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Management Accounting/Controlling and interest in global processes behind
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), or academic projects related to Finance & Controlling
  • Dedicated and team-oriented way of working as well as a high willingness to learn
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluency in spoken and written English


What we can offer you:

  • As a student intern, you can expect a fair expense allowance (payment of the currently valid minimum wage)
  • You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the internship
  • A full-time internship is 37.5 hours a week (a smaller number of hours can be arranged)
