Head of Value - Eye Health
The Position

Tasks & responsibilities
- As the architect of the commercial/value strategy across the EH TA portfolio, you'll be responsible for the development and execution of disease strategy, market entry & penetration plans, and product life cycle management. This includes the entire pipeline, including digital assets, and requires a deep understanding of our market and products.
- Crafting the correlated EH TA communications strategy will be a key part of your role. In close collaboration with HP Communications teams, you'll ensure that our messaging is consistent, effective, and aligned with our overall strategy.
- You'll be leading the global patient advocacy strategy for the EH TA. This involves close collaboration with Healthcare Affairs & Patient Engagement and Medicine teams, ensuring that our approach is patient-focused and strategically sound.
- As a key member of TALC, your role will involve representing the “voice of the customer” and supporting the cross-functional partnership and strategic network build-up. This includes overseeing key customer-facing and strategic stakeholder network building projects from initiation to execution and completion.
- Developing and implementing global market access strategies for TA assets will be a crucial part of your role. This covers value proposition development, coordinating environment shaping activities, and implementing value-added services to payers. Your deep understanding of payer and healthcare system needs will be key to success in this role.
- Launching and leading multiple world-class brands with commercial excellence will be a significant part of your position. This comprises measuring portfolio success, prioritizing global commercial/value team resources to support growth, and conducting annual reviews and updates of integrated brand plans, strategies, and implementation plans.
Requirements
- Master's degree, MBA, or equivalent qualification, coupled with a senior leadership role and profound expertise in marketing and market access in EH, and extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in Therapeutic Areas including global launches, managing global pipeline, brand, and portfolio
- Demonstrated success in a commercial or P&L leadership role within a major market, with a preference for candidates with experience in the US, EU5, Japan, or China; this includes proven ability to define the future value of assets of the RH pipeline, manage the value strategy for the TA, and handle the commercial budget
- Track record of successful launch of world-class brands with customer excellence, in-depth understanding of payer customers and their requirements, and ability to translate these into customized market shaping and/or development strategies and tactics
- Demonstrated ability in generating, synthesizing, and communicating payer-relevant evidence for products and value-added services that meet the requirements of payers in key markets
- Proven success in leading in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment within a complex matrix, with a strong track record of recruiting, developing, and coaching diverse and inclusive leaders
- Excellent English communication skills, with additional language skills being advantageous, and the ability to interact with regions to build the EH franchise
