Global Manager Employee Engagement

The Position

Join our Employee Engagement team, where we help shape how employees experience HR across Boehringer Ingelheim.

This position has a hybrid setup with approximately 3 days per week on site.

This position is limited for 2 years.

This position is part time eligible with min. 80%.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In this position you will Lead employee experience and engagement initiatives across global HR solutions
  • Partner with Global HR Solution Owners, GBS, IT, and project teams to support design employee-centric solutions that improve employee experiences across key moments that matter and the employee lifecycle.
  • Support employee journey mapping and experience design activities to identify pain points, opportunities, and improvement actions across HR processes, services, and digital touchpoints.
  • Act as a trusted Employee Experience consultant for Global HR Solution Owners, providing expertise on employee-centric design principles, journey thinking, service design, user adoption, and experience measurement.
  • Collaborate closely with GBS and IT to shape and continuously enhance the digital employee experience, ensuring HR technologies and employee-facing platforms are intuitive, seamless, and aligned with employee needs.
  • Support communication, stakeholder engagement, and enablement activities where required to facilitate understanding and successful adoption of global HR solutions.
  • Support employee listening and insight generation activities, including interviews, surveys, focus groups, and journey-based feedback mechanisms, translating findings into actionable recommendations for solution owners.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in HR, psychology, communications, business administration or a related field
  • Several years of work experience in change management, internal communications, UX, HR, or organizational development in a large corporate environment, ideally in an international, matrix environment
  • Proven experience designing and executing communication and change strategies for large-scale business or HR transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of employee listening, insights generation, stakeholder engagement, and adoption measurement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex topics into compelling employee-centered communication and engagement approaches.
  • Experience managing external partners, agencies or vendors is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills in English (German - preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience with MS Office (knowledge of SharePoint is a plus)
  • Ideally, experience tracking communication KPIs and utilizing qualitative and quantitative UX methods
