Field Veterinary Scientific Liaison Livestock (Focus: North Germany) (m/w/d)

The Position

For our dynamic team in the Animal Health Livestock area, we are looking for a Field Veterinary Scientific Liaison with a primary area of deployment in Northern Germany. This varied role combines veterinary expertise, scientific know-how and strategy development in veterinary marketing. You will take on technical responsibility for our swine portfolio and work closely with customers, farmers, as well as national and international teams at the Ingelheim site.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Act as a central contact person, communicating current study data and product information in presentations, practical events and farm visits to customers and relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to the further development of veterinary strategies and marketing materials
  • Support key accounts with your technical expertise in the context of strategic customer discussions
  • Initiate activities and advise customers on the interpretation of laboratory diagnostics
  • Train internal teams on veterinary and scientific topics
  • Contribute to the initiation and implementation of observational studies as well as to the analysis of data with the aim of scientific publications or specialist articles
  • Build relationships with opinion leaders in the field of swine health through participation in congresses, symposia and training courses and strengthen existing networks
  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs, Product Management and agrar consultants on a local and international level

Requirements

  • Completed degree in veterinary medicine (at least master’s level)
  • Solid practical experience in swine practice
  • Knowledge of clinical study work as well as scientific writing and methodology
  • Established network with key external experts in the livestock industry
  • Strong communication skills and confident appearance
  • Fluent German and business fluent English skills
  • High level of initiative, ability to work in a team and willingness to travel
