Communication Expert

The Position

Are you passionate about communication and driving meaningful change in a global environment? 

Join our Global Business Services (GBS), Governance, Enablement and Strategy (GES) team in Ingelheim and help shape how we connect, engage, and inspire colleagues across the organization. As a trusted advisor, you will partner with stakeholders to increase the effectiveness, reach, and impact of strategic initiatives through compelling communication and change management.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your role, you'll be supporting the execution of a global GBS communication strategy to foster collaboration and encourage lasting change through GBS-driven projects.
  • As a trusted advisor, you'll provide GBS employees with reliable, solution-oriented advice on proven communication practices and standards with a particular focus on change communication.
  • Working closely with GBS colleagues will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that communication aligns with relevant guidelines and contributes to business and communication objectives.
  • You will plan and conduct training sessions to enhance communication skills within the organization.
  • Lastly, you'll provide operational communication support for priority initiatives, including content creation, revision, campaign planning, and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the fields of Communication, Public Relations, Media or Social Studies, Humanities, or similar. 
  • Several years of professional experience in the fields of Communication, Public Relations, and/or Change Management. Prior experience within an IT- and / or Shared Services environment is a plus.
  • Strong proven track record in the field of corporate communication, digital channels and engagement, editing, writing, and campaign management (from conception to implementation).
  • First experience in managing projects, steering multiple contributors and engaging stakeholders for successful delivery.
  • Basic video editing skills (e.g. Adobe Premiere, ClipChamp) preferred.
  • Strong communication and social skills paired with a good understanding of the approaches to corporate change in a large, multinational organization. Confident in interacting with and advising experienced subject matter experts as well as leaders. Strong cultural awareness and empathy. 
  • Combination of a cooperative and creative mindset with a detail-oriented and structured approach.
  • Outstanding writing and language skills (especially German and English).
