(Junior) Manager Payer Evidence & Value Demonstration

This position can be filled either as Junior Manager or Manager.
Tasks & responsibilities
- You will develop and implement market access strategies for launch products in close collaboration with corporate and local functions such as Medical, Pricing, HTA, Regulatory, and Marketing. Success means enabling timely and optimal product access.
- Driving healthcare research studies and real-world evidence projects will be part of your role, resulting in high-quality scientific publications that strengthen our value proposition.
- Compelling value arguments for strategic positioning will be created and shared by you, while you train colleagues in health policy and payer communication to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.
- Close collaboration with Marketing, Medical, and Corporate Market Access will allow you to deliver effective value communication materials that support product positioning and stakeholder engagement.
- Epidemiological data for early benefit assessments (Module 3) will be generated and presented by you, providing accurate and timely input for regulatory submissions.
- Monitoring regulatory and legal frameworks for benefit assessments and real-world evidence in Germany will be your responsibility, as you proactively inform stakeholders to ensure compliance and strategic readiness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MSc) or equivalent in Pharmacy, Medicine, Health Economics, Natural Sciences, Epidemiology, or Public Health.
- Basic knowledge of the German healthcare system and pharmaceutical market.
- Initial methodological competence in healthcare research, HTA, or Health Economics, ideally demonstrated through internships or a master thesis.
- Highly structured and results-oriented working style combined with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in interdisciplinary projects.
- Flexibility, high learning capacity, and strong personal competence to manage diverse stakeholders.
Additional requirements for Manager:
- Doctoral degree (PhD, MD) preferred.
- In-depth expertise in the German healthcare system, including early benefit assessment of pharmaceuticals according to AMNOG.
- Proven applied methodological competence in healthcare research, HTA, and Health Economics.
- Experience working in matrix organizations and leading cross-functional projects.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience in working with payers, including successfully completed projects.
- High personal competence for managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships.
