The Position

 

National Key Account Lead (CPVN), Poultry

 

  • This role is to support and deliver the assigned financial targets in line with the Animal Health strategy of Boehringer Ingelheim Vietnam LLC.
  • Establish professional relationships with key personals in CPVN. Determine and exploit potential of the account by optimizing business performance. Continuous assessment clarification, validation and management of customer needs.
  • Lead and coordinate the solution development and needed activities to meet customer needs.
  • Be responsible for providing comprehensive inputs for business planning, LTF and OPEX requirements for CPVN to the Swine Business Segment Head.
  • Work across species Swine and Poultry to leverage opportunities within CP to ensure Boehringer Ingelheim will become the preffered partner when it comes to Animal Health.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  1. Customer Financial Target:
  • Achieve short and mid term financial targets
  • Regularly provide a monthly sales and activity report to Business Segment Head, Regional& Global stakeholders.
  • Conduct Monthly Sales Tracking (Number of gateway, monitors sold, Revenue subscriptions)

 

  1. Generate value along sales process:
  • Deliver an impactful moment of truth meeting with customers: 1 group meeting/ account/ quarter
  • Initiate in-depth consultation with key customers and provide ongoing advice as/when needed regarding the solutions
  • Get Customer Feedback from a Quarterly Survey

 

  1. Collaborate with Field Force /KAM team to:
  • Identify customer needs and make mutually agreed proposals for brand solutions
  • To provide guidance on the sales order process (e.g. customer contract, order form, subscription management form, invoicing)
  • Lead regular trainings for Poultry  Portfolio, number of colleagues trained on time, include solutions in FFCP

 

  1. Provide comprehensive inputs for business planning, Long-term Forecast (LTF) and OPEX requirements for the VTS business. Inclusion of VTS solutions in MOP to increase the Marek vaccine penetration

 

  1. Build the CP CBP completed and aligned with Business Segment Head by beginning fiscal year and update monthly on activities respectively

 

  1. Provide beyond the bottle services to Customers: technical training, technical project, publication updated. Introduce new innovation initiatives and solutions to Customers:
  • Monthly update of CP CBP on CRM and at Monthly meeting
  • Training: AHTSO: seminars, Poultry production: 6 seminars
  • Introduce, set up trial and promote new products to CP.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Minimum Education/Degree Requirements: DVM or Degree in life sciences and/or Degree in Business administration

 

 

Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies):

 

  • Minimum 5 years experience in animal health, livestock production, diagnostics or precision agriculture
  • Solid experience in sales with a proven track record of achieving targets and execution of strategy
  • Experience in marketing, strategic account management would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in English along with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic projects across functions
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Entrepreneurial drive and experience in running a business like a start-up within a large corporation
  • Ability to work in a complex environment and matrix teams.
