Integrated Learning Lead

The Position

 

Lead on all learning and development activities for Human Pharma of Boehringer Ingelheim Vietnam, working closely with local cross functional teams to create, harness and deliver a holistic internal training program across functions; sustaining and evolving customer facing team excellence through established and new initiatives, whilst also driving organizational awareness, understanding and expertise across all HP functions regarding the skills, capabilities require to deliver on Boehringer's GTM and CXE aspirations.

 

Sustain a learning program framework for the organization, including the identification of learning opportunities and the creation of program elements to enable transformation in key areas.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

 

  • Drive customer engagement excellence in a multi-channel environment through analyzing OPU training needs and developing annual training plan aligned with local training needs and ROPU training plans, through leveraging internal and external data such as RCP results, Coaching reports, coaching clinic results, PDT, cross functional teams feedback.
  • Ensure that all OPU execution of learning and development is as planned, proactively seek opportunities to leverage where possible existing regional programs and materials, adapting as required to deliver suitable as well as sustainable outcomes.
  • Collaborate in the planning of business strategy by providing insightful inputs into product strategy, Launch Excellence, ICP processes, resource allocations as required. Provide competitive analysis based on internal/ external data points to support effective training approaches / strategies.
  • Support projects and activities within the HP Operations Programs as required.
  • Lead and develop an effective team that is able and committed to delivering objectives and to drive people development and putting in place an annual team plan that will ensure team members successfully deliver on business objectives.
  • Compliance & Policies: Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), following the BI Code of Conduct. Take prompt and necessary actions on issues of compliance and Pharmacovigilance. Be a role model in compliance with local regulations, industry and the BI Code of Conduct. Ensure the field force is knowledgeable and compliant with relevant Code of Conduct documentation and regulations.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or medicine
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in training with people management, in pharmaceuticals industry. Previous experience in sales/ marketing is preferred
  • Capability to manage end-to-end training cycle, from training needs assessment through implementation, reinforcement and embedding of learning into business practices.
  • Strong in conceptual understanding of training process (Training needs identification to embedding) and training delivery skills
  • Content mastery of field force training topics (customer engagement models/ coaching skills/ account management skills) and Communication / presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration
  • Strong leadership and people development skills, with the ability to coach, mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential
  • Demonstrated writing and editing skills and proven ability to influence others (Leading without authority)

  • Proficiency for English in professional level and fluent in Vietnamese are required
