The Position
Digital and E-commerce Specialist, Companion Animal
To develop, implement and deliver the sales target and marketing strategy per e-retail platform in alignment with strategic objectives and to manage the customer relationship on an ongoing basis for the Boehringer Ingelheim’s Companion Animal portfolio.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Primary focus is to drive revenue targets through increased company Net Sales with assigned e-commerce platforms by managing both top line and bottom line profitability.
- Lead strategic campaign planning and work closely with e-commerce enablers, e-commerce media and digital agency to ensure excellent execution.
- Manage e-commerce enablers to deliver sales growth and operational excellence.
- Drive JBP with Strategic partners and develop strategies and action plans to achieve assigned monthly sales target.
- Provide monthly report, data driven analysis and insights to make informed decisions, track progress, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with regional (ROPU) team, providing insightful presentations and update e-commerce business or activities
- Developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to promote assigned brand.
- Work closely with digital agency to create and manage compelling digital content across various channels such as websites, social media, marketplace platforms, and online advertising.
- Monitoring and analyzing digital marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement, and campaign effectiveness on the assigned brand.
- Collaborate with Brand and Technical team to implement a holistic marketing strategy that covers the entire user journey in assigned brand.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key strategic hybrid e-retailers, by sharing the e-commerce & digital marketing knowledge to grow their business.
- Optimize Stock Planning: Collaborate closely with supply chain team to strategize and optimize stock planning, ensuring product availability.
- Effective Budget Management: Ensure efficient allocation of commercial spending and maximizing return on investment.
- Agreement Compliance: Ensure all agreements and contracts are established within designated timelines and adhere to company policies and standards.
Requirements:
Minimum Education/Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies):
- Proven experience in e-commerce marketing/sales or multi-channel retail/e-retail.
- Solid experiences in managing eCommerce enablers is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge in digital marketing channel, tools and platforms.
- Passion for e-commerce is a must.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and platforms, including social media.
- High learning agility, digital or e-commerce experience and dealing with ambiguity required.
- Strong focus on results, capable of identifying and tracking critical metrics, identifying key opportunities and issues and developing/executing plans to address.
- Good Command of English and strong presentation skills.
