THE OPPORTUNITY 

 

Are you looking to grow your career in Quality Assurance within a cutting-edge biotech environment? At Boehringer Ingelheim in Evergem, we are looking for a QA Officer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the production of advanced veterinary stem cell therapies in a GMP-regulated, aseptic manufacturing setting.

This position is based at Evergem and reports directly to the Head of Quality.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Execute daily QA activities within the Quality Management System (QMS), including review of GMP documentation, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
  • Support the QA team in maintaining controlled documents and ensuring timely review cycles.
  • Analyze and follow up on OOS/OOT results, complaints, and qualification records.
  • Assist in audit preparation and support continuous improvement of the QMS.
  • Compile data for quality monitoring (e.g. APR/PQR, trending) and perform individual training sessions.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM 

 

  • A Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Veterinary Science) or equivalent through experience.
  • First experience in a GMP-regulated environment, ideally in aseptic manufacturing or biotech.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Quality for aseptic pharma or biotech products
  • Strong communication skills and a precise, reliable working style.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems and work independently.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to work in a highly regulated setting.
