Fall Co-Op - QA Quality Systems

Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Quality Assurance – Quality Systems department located at our Gainesville, GA facility. As an Intern, you will learn and develop basic skills to support the Quality Systems and Compliance team, focusing on the use of IT solutions. As a member of Quality Systems, you will be responsible for collecting, evaluating and implementing IT- and data-centric improvement ideas. Co-Op candidates will work with site colleagues to deliver innovative solutions to support our site’s operations and decision-making processes.

Before applying, please ensure you can commit to the following:

  • Expect to be on site for at least 3 days per week and must be located in the local area for the Co-Op.
  • Potential Start Dates are set for this Co-Op: July/August 2026
  • Co-Op Students will work for at least 4 months after the start date.  We may extend you up to 6 months in total depending on business needs.  These is a Full-time position only. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Development/enhancement of trend/workload/status tracker tools (e.g., PowerBI)
  • Propose IT-centered enhancements, technology use-cases, and/or solutions.  Technologies may include Database/SQL, APIs, AI, RPA.
  • Shareroom Portal design, organization, and management
  • Support projects from Quality Systems and Compliance processes as needed.

  • Help turn data into insights

Requirements

  • Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
  • Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op.
  • Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred.
  • Major or minor in related field of co-op.
  • Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university.
  • Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university.


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities

  • Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau
  • Strong analytical capability and organization skills
  • Self-driven, independent and curious with good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Ability to relate technology-related information to non-technical audience
  • General understanding of cGMP Industry/Quality Systems (a plus)
