This position offers a base salary typically between (60,000) and (97,000).  There is opportunity to consider higher compensation above this range based on business need, candidate experience and or skills.  The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements. 

 

 

The Master Associate leads cross-functional efforts to transform the processes pertinent to warehousing and logistics. The are key contributors to critical programs such as inspection readiness, temperature monitoring, and inventory management. Delivers routine administrative and physical assignments focused on Logistics - receiving, storage, transfer and shipping. This position is responsible for supplying all applicable materials in support of the production schedule and client demands. This position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of delivering a lean, optimized and efficient warehousing function. The Master Associate, Materials & Logistics will work within a team environment to deliver on materials, promote process excellence, adhere to all regulations, and operate safely. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Executes the successful receipt, storage, transfer, and shipment of GMP material at all stages of the process lifecycle (i.e., raw material, WIP, and Finished Good).
  • Resolves inventory variances with adequate training & ERP system expertise:
    • SAP reporting
    • Inventory investigations partnering with Operations, Quality Control, and Procurement
    • Reconciles inventory accordingly
  • Contributes adherence to federal regulations by maintaining inspection-readiness in all warehouses and manufacturing hub. Will serve as SME in audit presentations. Also includes partnering with external vendors to ensure timely performance/closure of maintenance and work orders.
  • Proficient in Building Management Systems and the analysis of temperature alarms. Can also leverage internal resources to determine product impact.
  • Performs key internal support duties including coordination activities, inventory management consults, and assessment of production demand.
  • Analyzes current inventory against future storage requirements to ensure adequate capacity in support of long-term capacity planning.
  • Champions process improvements efforts spanning across various functions and with influence outside of Supply Chain.
  • Promotes Quality Culture through on-time LOS completion, educates new hires on quality culture, and conducts area walk-throughs.
  • Owns the business processes that ensure reliable supply to patient.

Master Associate Requirements

  • At least 5 years warehouse, logistics or supply chain experience required.
  • At least 3 years of GMP experience or equivalent required; at least 5 years of GMP experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and computer office programs (Microsoft Office, SAP).
  • Must be proficient in MRP system (i.e. SAP).
  • Must be willing to operate warehouse industrial material handling equipment as required.
  • Forklift and delivery cargo truck operation required.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
  • Raw Material inspection experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to peers and management.
  • Demonstrated high level of personal motivation and initiative and be able to work independently to complete daily tasks assigned.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible with daily work assignment changes as well as a continuously improving work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work and participate effectively in a team environment

  • FDA - Code of Federal Regulations
  • Ensures compliance with all warehouse processes in accordance with Government (cGMP, FDA, DEA, OSHA, Safety) and Company Policies, Procedures, Goals and Objectives. Demonstrates good knowledge of GMP, FDA and European regulations. Follow all relevant department policies, procedures, SOP and other requirements during execution and act at all times within the BI standards/ethics policies.
  • High School Diploma
  • Some college course work is plus.
