Sr Associate, Logistics & Materials, Onsite, Fremont CA Day Shift
Duties & Responsibilities
- Creates and plans replenishment of shipping materials for department as required. Including Passive Shippers, ice and general shipping supplies.
- Develops and Manages Kanban System to always ensure availability.
- Generates purchase orders to procure via SAP.
- Works with team to avoid observations, establish preventive measures to ensure compliance and is actively involved in finding effective solutions to avoid reoccurrence of events.
- Leads and coaches Shipping team in the execution of shipments on the floor.
- Works with AD Warehouse Operations, Shipping Supervisor and AD Procurement and Customs to ensure readiness for Audit of Agencies and Customers. Following an internal Checklist, periodically audits the areas to ensure 'Audit Ready Standards'.
- In collaboration with Customs Compliance Specialist and Traffic Coordinator , evaluates shipping requirements and ensures shipments comply with Customer Requirements and all local SOPs. Prepares detailed schedule and documentation packages, facilitating daily execution of the shipping team.
- Documents work according to cGMP and cGDP. Adheres to established regulations and follows cGMP and SOP's. Reports abnormalities and deviations in a timely and accurate manner. Adheres to safety standards and identifies unsafe situations / habits and escalates appropriately. Maintains Shipping areas according to predefined standards.
- Leads Monitoring of Temperature Control Units relevant to storage of Products within Warehouse Responsibility and follows the existing Building Management System process to document performance of units.
- This role will act as the SME in Warehouse and first line of contact with Engineering evaluating and recommending to management a path forward to avoid Product Impact. During off-hours, this position will support key stakeholders (i.e. E'T, PQA, C'W) in responding to building alarms.

The Materials ' Logistics Specialist will deliver routine administrative and physical assignments focused on Logistics - receiving, storage, transfer and shipping. This position is responsible for supplying all applicable materials in support of the production schedule and client demands. This position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of delivering a lean, optimized and efficient warehousing function. The Senior Associate, Materials ' Logistics will work within a team environment to deliver on materials, promote process excellence, adhere to all regulations, and operate safely.
This role is for day shift M-F: 7:30am- 4:30pm PST
Requirements: Senior Level
- 5 years of administrative experience supporting team in a warehouse setting.
- At least three (3) years of GMP experience or equivalent required; at least five (5) years of GMP experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9000, IATA, OSHA, DOT, FAA, and FDA Guidelines.
- Demonstrates systematic problem-solving skills.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office products, (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and data entry experience.
- Demonstrates high degree of accuracy, problem-solving and problem resolution, as well as ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-direction, initiative and high attention to detail.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong, results focused individual with demonstrated ability to work supporting a team.
- Experience with accurately organizing, storing and ensuring all records are update-to-date.
- Experience with creating purchasing orders and the purchasing process a plus.
- Very detailed oriented with the ability to following processes, procedures and S.O.P's.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and computer office programs (Microsoft Office, SAP)
- Must be proficient in MRP system (i.e., SAP).
- Must be willing to operate warehouse industrial material handling equipment as required
- Forklift and delivery cargo truck operation required.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Good communication skills - needs to communicate directly with all levels within the department and company. Needs to be able to deliver company updates regarding policy changes to department.
- The ability to work well with others inside and outside of the department - to coordinate receiving, routing of paperwork for company officer signatures, use site purchasing tools and approved systems for e-form check requests and PO placement and is the contact and information related to key metrics / project status in the area.
- Good decision-making skills - incumbent must be able to independently prioritize job duties and projects given by Manager. The ability to manage time-sensitive duties such as state licensing, department tour/events and support to warehouse personnel.
Compensation Data
This position offers a base salary typically between (60,000) and (97,000). There is opportunity to consider higher compensation above this range based on business need, candidate experience and or skills. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements.
