Sales Representative Pet Vet (Firenze - Arezzo)
THE POSITION
As a Sales Representative the candidate will become part of our extraordinary Pet Vet Business Unit and will be part of the team on the territory, bringing experience and passion directly to our customers. The candidate will be responsible for achieving the sales targets of the assigned territory, executing internal strategies to maximize results.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our veterinary clinics to understand their dynamics and needs, build value for the customer and collaborate with the company to offer the best solution for our pets.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets on assigned territory.
- Maintain a high level of customer engagement and promote the company, its products and activities at all levels within the marketplace. Adheres to communication requirements and effectively manages time and territory management. Follow-up with customers and cross-functional partners in a timely manner. Record learnings/insights and call objectives in CRM. Leverages pre/post-call process to enhance customer engagement and impact territory performance. Maintain account/customer data/information in CRM. Identify decision-makers and influencers within accounts/clinics and develop a working relationship. Share learnings/insights with team members, manager and cross-functional partners. Identify business opportunities and together with manager/brand team undertake calculated risks.
- Identify and target key influencers and accounts to maximize business impact and call regularly on them, improving and developing business relationships, ensuring a high level of support and promotion of BI products.
- Monitor assigned territory market trends, competitor products and customer need to identify new business opportunities and objectives. Shares information regarding the market, competitor activities and customer feedback on products and promotions to relevant colleagues.
- Ethical and Industry Standards: Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts to maintain BIAH excellent reputation within the industry. Compliance with CAHI Code of Conduct and other related BIAH SOP.
- Selling Skills and Ability: Use the BI AH Selling model to engage customers, understand needs, build value and advance the sale. Positions products based on Plan of Action and customer insights. Fosters a positive working relationship with individual customers and accounts/clinics. Leverages multi-channel and close-loop marketing (CLM) tools and resources with targeted/segmented customers.
- Business and Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate an understanding of BIAH products, competitors and clinical studies; as well as current and emerging animal health industry trends. Share insights & competitor activity through appropriate channels with relevant stakeholders. Leverages business tools (CRM/Impact Vet/Sales Reports) to assess/understand market, product, account/customer and overall territory dynamics and opportunities.
Requirements
- University Scientific Degree, (VET preferred), or equivalent work experience.
- History of successful performance in previous roles.
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in the Animal Health industry.
- AAI (Accountability, Agility and Intrapreneurship) - Elements of how We Work at BIAH.
- Fluent in social media trends and understanding of the power of social media. Understanding of the power of social media in business acumen.
- Account management Business Planning & customer prioritization skills.
- Account Management experience or understanding Strong presentation skills including oral, written and interpersonal communication.
- Analytical skills including computer and technology skills; Outlook, MS Office, smart phone and CRM tools.
- Well-developed selling and negotiation skills Self-Directed with a growth mindset.
- Collaborative team player.
- Ability to travel (overnights required).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license (based on location of assigned territory).
- Must reside within assigned geographical territory.
- Italian Fluent, nice to have English.
