Business Analytics Specialist

The Position
The Business Analytics Specialist role is to gather data, business intelligence dashboard & report creation, analyses and provides visibility of insights (from primary and secondary data sources) regarding products, market conditions, competitors and customers. Working closely with internal HP Operations Team and cross-functional team to drive business growth and decisions making.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting HP Analytics Lead to generate insights on company, brand and market performance, and identify opportunities and challenges, Work on analysis required in ICP and as well as any ad hoc business case preparation. Expected to contribute and flag any observations and insights in team meetings.
  • Analysis to gather business and customer requirements. Creating interactive visualizations and business insights via tools (E.g. Power BI & MS Excel) to establish dashboards and analysis from diverse and reliable sources. Collaborating with cross-functional team to ensure all methodologies are appropriate and executed effectively.
  • Lead in GTM KPIs insights & Medical Excellence KPIs Insights. Inform and flag achievements and opportunity for improvement for MSI Cluster deliveries cross functionally.
  • Managing of MSI cluster primary and secondary data sources from all 3 countries, collaborate closely with ROPU Data team for efficient data operations and processes.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with respective applicable Boehringer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Code of Conduct, established processes and regulatory requirements. Ensure that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with Boehringer's values as well as complying with local, and where relevant international law.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to effectively work cross functionally.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Business Information, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field
  • 3-4 years of business analysis or a related field.
  • Strong in business acumen & able to make informed decision, knowledge of core business processes (eg. Commercial & Customer Experience Excellence, Sales & Marketing)
  • Excellent in data visualization, data analysis and business intelligence report development. Solid experience in creating interactive visualizations and business insights via tools (E.g. Power BI & MS Excel)
  • Expert in turning data into insight, ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Expert in data management, data scripting & database skills
  • MS SQL database skill (added advantage)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, proficiency in functions & pivot for data analysis.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry (added advantage)
