This role will serve as a subject‑matter expert for advanced analytics, architect scalable analytical solutions, and influence cross‑functional strategies. Ensure analytical outputs are robust, reusable, and directly tied to business value and measurable outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Architect reusable analytical solutions and standards (semantic layers, KPI definitions, reusable components) that reduce time-to-insight and scale across brands/regions.
  • Document design decisions and deprecate duplicative tools to lower TCO.
  • Lead complex, multi-source integrations (e.g., Snowflake, Adobe/Salesforce) to deliver decision-grade datasets.
  • Define quality thresholds and SLAs with Data Management Team.
  • Advance causal inference/forecasting approaches (e.g., uplift modeling, time-series) and create reusable feature stores/pipelines.
  • Document assumptions and monitor model drift.
  • Define governance for metrics, lineage, and access.
  • Implement semantic layers and data contracts to ensure consistency and least-privilege access.
  • Optimize cost/performance across cloud/BI stacks (compute, storage, query patterns).
  • Implement usage governance to reduce spend without sacrificing service levels.
  • Influence portfolio prioritization with ROI business cases.
  • Ensure the analytics backlog aligns to strategy and capacity.
  • Share best practices across Marketing, Sales, Finance.
  • Publish playbooks and reusable assets to speed delivery and quality.
  • Provide deep subject‑matter expertise in animal health and adjacent verticals.
  • Ensure analytical methods reflect commercial realities and regulatory constraints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s required
  • Master’s (MBA/MS) preferred
  • PhD a plus
  • 7–10 years relevant experience
  • SQL
