The Communications Manager for Commercial Operations Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA Inc. is a member of the US Animal Health Corporate Affairs Communications team and will be a Communications Partner for the US Animal Health organization, leading and executing communications and public relations projects that increases the reputation and impact of Boehringer Ingelheim's Animal Health business with our communities, customers employees and future innovation partners. This includes the creation and execution of communications plans for internal and external audiences.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partners with Animal Health teams to increase the business reputation with key external audiences.
  • Supports communications about key innovation milestones and/or engagements with key external and internal audiences across the US Animal Health organization, specifically within the US commercial teams.
  • Includes developing communication plan with compelling messaging platforms that will resonate with key audiences.
  • Builds key relationships with internal cross-functional partners (including Global colleagues) to create and implement thoughtful, efficient, and impactful internal and external communications plans that engage the team with our purpose, delivering results.

Requirements

  • Communications degree (or related field) or higher education exposure required.
  • Five-plus (5+) years of experience in corporate communications-related role (public relations, internal communications, communications agency, customer communications)
  • Exceptional writing skills. 
  • Ideator with intrinsic motivation to deliver. 
  • Demonstrated learning agility and ability to take in knowledge, apply it to current communications programs.   
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills are a must. 
  • Must work well in teams and invest in developing collaborative relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with and advise executives along with the ability to build relationships at all levels, collaborate and influence for results.


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
