The Associate Direcctor of Pet Owner Engagement and Optimization will drive growth and engagement by continuously optimizing pet owner journeys to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role leverages customer engagement analytics, first-party data, research, and social listening outputs to identify triggers, pain points, and opportunities across journey stages and cross-portfolio interactions. Will design brand interaction points and engagement strategies that ensure relevant, impactful content and touchpoints, collaborating with Commercial Excellence on A/B testing to refine performance. Will assign and monitor KPIs related to engagement, conversion, and content effectiveness, and implement data-driven insights to enhance workflows, maximize reach, while uncovering evolving customer needs and behaviors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Creation and execution of Growth and Engagement Optimization both on and off-line.
- Evolves pet owner journeys based on CE analytics
- Identifies triggers for transition of journey stages and cross portfolio opportunities
- Designs brand interaction points to deliver exceptional customer experience
- Identifies pain points, opportunities, and moments of influence to improve experience.
- Defines and optimized programs based on customer insights and business goals.
- Identifies pet owner trends early so that content strategy can be adapted appropriately to feed into content deliverables.
- Ensures compliance with legal and financial guidelines.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of strategic plans that optimize sales, market share, and revenue growth.
- Development and implementation of pet owner engagement strategy
- Ensures brand content and touchpoints are salient and relevant for defined brand interaction
- Collaborates with CE on A/B testing to measure content performance and refine to maximize reach and relevance
- Optimizes workflows based on feedback and data to deliver exceptional customer experience
- Develops and executes engagement strategies and plans
- Leverages first party data, research, and social listening outputs to continuously assess and uncover pet owner/vet professional needs and behaviors.
- Assigns KPIs related to engagement, conversion, and content effectiveness.
- Optimizes workflows
- Works with CE to gather feedback to evaluate and refine programs to continuously meet the market needs
- Fosters financial accountability and awareness of economic factors across all levels of the organization and brings anticipates issues impacting resources to ensure the organizations financial viability
- Provides direction and guidance to others regarding marketing strategy and translates Boehringer's goals into customer and consumer specific initiatives while advancing the insight of others regarding key market drivers and business opportunities
- Leads the preparation of plans as needed and identifies risks, financial return, tasks, resources and time frames that meet targets
- Forms and leads collaboration between sales force and pets marketing teams to solicit and prioritize customer insights and benchmark best practices to advise cross-functional teams on how to exceed customer's current and future needs and desires.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- Strong written & verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to develop stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated organization, planning & project management skills along with solid decision making & negotiation skills
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects & prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, and creativity and proven track record for innovation.
