The Opportunity

In this role you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of integrity and compliance, aligned with our company values. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead compliance efforts, collaborate globally, and support business objectives while ensuring adherence to regulatory and governance requirements.

This position reports to the Head of Legal & Compliance IMETA.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Expertise & Business Partnering: Provide expert guidance on compliance matters, identify and mitigate risks, and foster a culture of integrity across the organization.
  • Global Program Implementation: Adapt and execute global compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to meet regional and local business needs.
  • Representation & Advocacy: Represent the organization in external advocacy groups and associations, ensuring alignment with compliance standards.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Lead and coordinate compliance initiatives across the region, ensuring a consistent and centralized approach.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and empower a high-performing compliance team, fostering innovation and excellence.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify compliance risks and implement action plans to address and prevent issues.
  • Strategic Alignment: Balance global standards with local needs, ensuring compliance programs align with business strategies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal is preferred.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Regional experience is preferred
  • Expertise in Compliance Management Systems, project management, and process design.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with a strategic and innovative mindset.
  • Business fluency in English.
