At the Operating Unit Animal Health Nordics, steered out of Copenhagen, we are dedicated to deliver health to animals in Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Strategic Account Manager Nordics, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable growth by building strong, long-term partnerships with key customers, such as veterinary chains and corporate accounts.

You will lead the development and execution of joint business plans aligned with customer needs and company strategy, ensuring mutual value for both partners.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you will leverage market insights, customer knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful commercial outcomes while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver consistent, customer-centric results.

The role is based in Copenhagen and reports directly to Head of Business Unit Pets Nordics, with flexibility of hybrid schedule working module. The role is expected to visit customers 40-60% of the time across the Nordic countries, whereas 30% are within Denmark.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute Customer Business Plans for key accounts, aligning company priorities with customer needs.
  • Take ownership of key revenue streams, driving strategic partnerships and measurable results.
  • Achieve revenue targets by optimizing pricing, trade investments, and portfolio mix to drive growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, positioning the company as a partner of choice.
  • Drive excellence in commercial execution, across product launches, campaigns, and in-clinic activations, ensuring continuous performance improvement.
  • Leverage data, insights, and market trends to identify opportunities, and drive decision-making.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, supply chain, finance, and regulatory to ensure aligned business outcomes.

 

YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Master’s degree in a commercial, business or relevant scientific field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Strategic Account Management, Key Account Management, or a similar commercial role.
  • Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Swedish or Danish would be a strong asset.
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts, developing customers business plans, and delivering sustainable growth.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing, trade investments, and P&L ownership.
  • Solid understanding of the animal health industry, veterinary channels, shopper behaviors or comparable regulated environments.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage complex customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical mindset, combined with effective interpersonal and leadership skills to drive results.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
