At the Operating Unit DENOR and AH Nordics, steered out of Copenhagen, we are dedicated to deliver health to humans in Denmark and Norway and to deliver health to animals in Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We seek a sourcing professional who is ready for the next step and will support Boehringer Ingelheim development towards highly efficient sourcing strategies.

 

As the Sourcing Manager Nordics, you will focus on Goods and Services (Marketing, Sales, Professional services, Facilities and Logistic) for our Human Pharma and Animal Health business units. Moreover, you will be part of a team who is responsible for the DENOR (Denmark-Norway), Finland and Sweden-supplier's market.

This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and you will report directly to the Head of Finance & Administration Nordics.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the local business partners in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden in their needs from the supplier's market by performing scoping, tendering, bid analysis, negotiations, contracting, and evaluations.
  • Implement local and regional sourcing techniques in fields like market intelligence, creative agencies, sales and media services, consultancy, and other areas with shared spending patterns.
  • Optimize value add, risk management, contract harmonization and automation ratios.
  • Ensure that the selection, contracting, and performance adhere to legitimate rules.
  • Oversee sourcing processes and exchange expertise and best practices regularly working in close collaboration with our Regional team sitting in the Netherlands and our Corporate team in Germany.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sourcing goods and services or related fields; experience in Pharma industries is a plus!
  • Excellent command of the English language, including the capability to create and maintain business relations. Knowledge of the Danish language is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting, well-organized, and attentive to detail.
  • Good team player, enjoy working in a diverse environment and values cross-functional solid relationships.
  • Strong business partnering skills and an open mindset for continued improvement ideas!
