As our Medical Manager, Obesity and MASH for Denmark and Norway, you will have a pivotal role in establishing our presence, building strategic networks, and positioning our organization as a trusted partner in this evolving market.

As we prepare for prelaunch and launch activities, we seek a professional with deep expertise in Obesity and MASH, capable of driving collaboration with healthcare professionals and navigating the complexities of reimbursement and patient-driven markets.

You will report directly to the Medical CRM Team Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Operations.

The role is based in Copenhagen and will require some travelling within Denmark, Norway, as well as other countries (between 20-30%).

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, expand and develop a strong network with external experts across obesity, endocrinology, hepatology and gastroenterology.
  • Act as a scientific partner in cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic prelaunch and launch plans for new therapies in obesity and MASH.
  • Navigate reimbursement processes, medicine councils, and regulatory authorities in Denmark and Norway.
  • Provide scientific and strategic input to brand teams and contribute to the development of local medical plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Develop medical educational content for external and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver medical training and support to internal teams, including field force training.
  • Gather and analyze medical insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Represent DENOR in regional and global medical forums and initiatives.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Master’s or PhD in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.  Experience in prelaunch and launch activities is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of obesity and MASH, with an established network in these areas.
  • Strong understanding of Danish/Norwegian healthcare system and regulatory environment.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement systems and healthcare authorities in Denmark and Norway.
  • Excellent understanding of the complexity of obesity treatment and its long-term impact.
  • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive change.
  • Collaborative team player with experience in cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent command of Danish or Norwegian and English.
