THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a finance professional who enjoys being close to the business and turning financial insights into meaningful decisions? As Finance Business Partner responsible for the Nordic region, you will be a strategic partner to the Animal Health organization, translating complex financial and commercial information into actionable insights and supporting business decisions across the Nordic markets.

You will take a key role in financial planning, forecasting, performance management, pricing and profitability analysis while partnering closely with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. Operating across five countries, four currencies and three legal entities, you will bring financial expertise, commercial understanding and a forward-looking mindset to help mitigate risks and drive sustainable business performance.


Based in Copenhagen, you will report to the Finance & Admin. Manager Nordics, with the flexibility to combine office and home working, based on mutual agreement and business needs.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to the Head of Animal Health and business teams, providing financial guidance and decision support
  • Lead and coordinate financial planning, forecasting, Outlook, budgeting (LTF), including risk & opportunity management and scenario planning
  • Provide insights into sales performance, pricing, gross-to-net, rebates, profitability, OPEX and FX impacts, across multiple Nordic markets and currencies
  • Support commercial decision-making through business cases, customer profitability assessments, pricing evaluations and contract negotiations
  • Provide financial input on P&L performance, pricing decisions, customer contracts and closing potential performance gaps
  • Partner with business and Finance stakeholders to identify performance gaps, opportunities and actions to achieve financial targets
  • Supporting S&OP, CPC, business review and cycle meetings, including preparation of financial analyses and decision making
  • Ensure high-quality financial reporting and support month-end/year-end activities, reconciliations, provisions, audits and relevant compliance processes
  • Collaborate effectively across Finance, Controlling, HR and commercial teams at local and regional level

 

YOU BRING:

  • Strong background in Finance, Controlling or Business Partnering, ideally within a commercial and international environment, with multiple years of relevant working experience
  • Solid expertise in financial planning, forecasting, P&L management and performance analysis
  • Sound commercial acumen, with the ability to understand pricing, profitability, gross-to-net and key business drivers
  • Very good understanding of GAAP, financial governance, risk and compliance principles
  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with complex financial data across different markets, currencies and reporting sources
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into clear business recommendations and challenge stakeholders constructively
  • A collaborative, proactive and solution-oriented mindset, combined with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies
  • Digital and financial systems proficiency, with the ability to leverage data and technology to generate insights and support decision-making
