Key Account Specialist - E-Customers & Wholesale (Centro-Sud)

THE POSITION

We are seeking a Key Account Specialist e‑Customers & Wholesale who will be part of the Pets & Equine team for the Italian territory.
The role combines account management, commercial development, digital content quality and performance monitoring in a rapidly evolving omnichannel ecosystem to ensure scalable and sustainable growth.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Implement commercial strategies to achieve sell‑out, market share and sell‑in targets.
• Manage and develop e‑retail and WHS customers, building strong growth‑oriented partnerships.
• Negotiate commercial conditions, promotions and trade investments ensuring a competitive and sustainable value proposition.
• Ensure quality of portfolio & digital product content to enhance brand visibility and conversion.
• Ensure accurate and reliable forecasting.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects & propose scalable and innovative solutions to elevate the e‑commerce channel.
• Strengthen BI Animal Health Italy as reference partner in the antiparasitic category.

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience in Key Account Management and/or e‑commerce roles.
• University degree in Economics or Pharmacy (or a related field).
• Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
• Experience in pharma / e‑pharma markets.
• Knowledge of digital catalog management, conversion funnel, KPIs and analytical tools.
• Negotiation and partnership‑building skills.
• Strong digital capabilities and familiarity with e‑commerce platforms.
• Experience in international and matrix environments; marketplace experience is a plus.
• Strong social intelligence and communication skills.
• Proactive, resourceful and execution‑oriented.
• Strategic thinking and problem‑solving mindset.
