The Opportunity

 

Boehringer Ingelheim is looking to hire a District Manager based in Cairo, who will be managing Team/People - Directly supervises, builds and leads a team of Medical Representatives within responsible district through leading, coaching and managing talents.

• Managing Business / Performance:

  • Develops a District Plan to maximize the resource utilization and ensures execution, ensures targeting of most valuable customers, Field Force/CRM/New channel KPIs achievement, Target and Goals setting, Key Account Tasks (including relationship building & Customer Engagements), market share development & customer base expansion
  • Has the responsibility to meet/exceed sales results(Value and product mix) for the entire district in charge, individual direct reports and channels.

• Compliance, Code of Conducts  and Policies - Is responsible to ensure that all company and industry compliance topics/requirements(e.g. Pharmacovigilance) are adhered, understood, monitored and respected within the immediate team.

 

Tasks & responsibilities

 

  • Has the responsibility to meet/exceed sales results(Value and product mix) for the entire district in charge, individual direct reports and channels and market share development & customer base expansion
  • Analyze the business in responsible district for business opportunity, develop the district plan base on the regional plan, excellence execution, Monitor and evaluate regularly the implementation of the District Plan(inclu. Budget and expense) and lead the team for achievement with role model for BI behaviors for the team
  • Coach medical representatives to develop excellent customer engagement skills
  • Manage the Rep Performance and Development for the responsible district 
  • Utilize CRM system Veeva and standard reports to maximize customer engagement and sales force productivity
  • Comply with local regulations, industry and company Code of Conduct
  • Functional / Administrative Responsibilities; Reviews District / Territorial boundaries and customer coverage, and if necessary, recommends changes
  • Leadership / Supervision to ensure implementation and performance management, development plan for direct report, talents identified/development and coaching during MAG evaluated discussion  
  • Demonstrates cross functional team (Marketing, Medical, ComOps) collaboration and alignment to deliver superior results

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Sales leadership capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical or Scientific field.
  • Business planning & Performance management.
  • Driving Execution Excellence.
  • Communication skills.
  • 3-5 Years in Sales management experience
  • Being acquainted with Egyptian MKT dynamics is a plus
  • CRM or Primary MKT experience is a plus
