Learning and Development Student

The Position

Support the HP L&D department in developing and delivering training programs, materials and special projects.

This job posting is for an existing vacant position. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Will assist L&D in the following areas of project support and management, for example:
  • Creation of Needs Assessment surveys\
  • Workshop design support and Coordination
  • Creation of training documents and workshop outlines
  • Lead build/creation of L&D content on next
  • Support creation of training videos/ digital communications
  • Special project administrative tasks
  • Support special projects aimed at driving efficiencies across our processes and department
  • Participate as an integrated member of the L&D team to add insights and support deliverables (as in examples given above).

This position is based in the Burlington, Ontario office located at 5180 South Service Road and is flexible.
Employees in flexible roles are required to be at the office a minimum of 50% of the time each month and must report to the office when requested and required by their Manager/Department

 

Requirements

  • Strong initiative
  • Project Management Skills
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office and other creative platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team and independently
  • Creative thinking/ video creation and editing capabilities
  • Organization skills
  • French and English language skills are an asset for the purpose of working cross-functionally with Boehringer colleagues across Canada and in some cases with colleagues situated globally.

The salary range for this position is from $23.30/hr to $27.00/hr.  Relevant experience and education will be a key factor in driving the compensation offered.
