Animal Heath Bovine Student

The Position

The Animal Health Bovine team is looking for a proactive, energetic student that will work within a dynamic team to gain marketing experience. This role is mean to support the Bovine Business Unit marketing team through projects that will focus on analyzing marketing insights and data as well as supporting and implementing key marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to create customer engagement through the development and implementation of social, digital and traditional marketing activities for key mature brands
  • Research market, customer and competitive trends to help drive decisions for our activation plans
  • Provide support for key internal marketing activities, including preparation of annual brand plans
  • Support day-to-day administrative activities and project management, such as managing content, routing promotional materials for approval, creating digital email fragments, etc.
  • Participate and contribute in cross-functional team tactics meetings 

This position is based in the Burlington, Ontario office located at 5180 South Service Road and is flexible.
Employees in flexible roles are required to be at the office a minimum of 50% of the time each month and must report to the office when requested and required by their Manager/Department

 

Requirements

  • Enrolled in post-secondary institution for September 2026 (preference for Agriculture, business, marketing or related field)
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) and a strong interest in digital technology
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Understanding of general marketing principles including segmentation, targeting and positioning
  • A sense of curiosity to gather data and insights to critically examine opportunities and challenges, and to use evidence to drive decisions
  • Agility, flexibility and a strong sense of accountability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and learning agility

The salary range for this position is from $23.30/hr to $27.00/hr.  Relevant experience and education will be a key factor in driving the compensation offered.
