Sr Risk and Compliance Analyst (Third Party Risk)

The Position

Help identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks through sound evaluation of documentation and risk-based decision-making.

Focus on conducting Know Your Business Partner end to end process, to ensure regulations are met, risk is properly identified, addressed and monitored. Ensuring External Business Partners have proper procedures in place by revision documentation and questions in assigned risk areas. 

In addition to the ongoing risk assessments  purpose of the job is to manage ongoing monitoring and ensuring that negative news, identified gaps are properly escalated.

 

Tasks and responsibilities

1) Know Your Business Partner (KYBP) Advice:

  • Advise Business Partners, Sourcing, Risk Experts on questions related to internal and external questionnaires.
  • Log ad hoc tasks to ensure missing documentation/controls are delivered.
  • Supported by Senior Specialist Communicating directly with relevant Business Partners to elaborate specific cases and underlying importance of completing KYBP process from risk/regulatory perspective.
  • Manage ticketing in ServiceNow.

 

2) Systems Advice:

Advising KYBP stakeholders (Sourcing, Risk Experts, Business Partners) on system usage: completing questionnaires, submitting actions, ad hoc tasks, requesting access.

 

3) Quality Management:

  • Ensure the process is conducted in line with process manual, procedures.
  • Verify wheather stakeholders complete their tasks in agreed SLAs and in line with procedures.
  • Extract reports, metrics to ensure risk assessments run smoothly.

 

4) Know How Management & Training:

  • Support the Senior Specialist  in establishing, maintaining and improving corresponding procedures for specific risk area in alignment with the Legal & Compliance Services process management; manuals, SOP.
  • Support the Senior Specialist in establishing proper materials and channels for QA sessions.
  • Onboard of new colleagues in the KYBP (incl. new colleagues in Legal & Compliance Services).

 

5) Service Intake & Service Metrics:

  • Ensure process flow goes properly according to the design.

 

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields such as Risk or Compliance, Economics, Bussiness Administration, Law.
  •  2- 4 years of experience with global stakeholders, experiance with assessing risks in supply chain.
  • Business fluency in the language of the country of deployment (Spanish and Portuguese), and fluent written and spoken English.
  • Quality & Expertise: Knowledge of risk and compliance related topics. Knowledge and experience with the review correctness of the documentation. Precise and diligent working ethic. 
  • Business Solution Orientation: Strong service and business partner focus with an emphasis on risk adjusted efficiency of standard processing in a data- and system-driven environment.
