Head of IT RDM Operations Americas

The position

 

End to end accountable for IT RDM systems supported from Argentina and Spain. This includes operational excellence, compliance, talent management, performance, stability and cost efficiency of all IT processes and services provided.

 


Tasks and responsabilities

 

 • Supervision of all project management activities related to support. 
 • Continues improvement of IT processes.
 • Implementation of state-of-the-art IT technologies and methodologies. 
 • Strategic leadership in the function. 
 • Alignment with other IT departments.
 • Scouting and implementation of innovations in the field of responsibility. 
 • Contribute to improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of IT processes by applying adequate Strategies, IT Methods and technologies.
 • Responsible for leading and managing all project management activities related to support across all Boehringer Ingelheim Regions.
 • Accountable for the monitoring and delivery of overall application service quality and delivery in the region.  Coordinate service delivery on a regional level and assure alignment across multiple regions. Responsible for further development and continuous improvement of delivery of services according to SLAs.
 • Responsible for proper communication with IT  functions and to meet IT needs and goals.
 • Act as regional internal IT business partner.
 • Responsible for compliance of IT processes and services with  laws, regulations and SOP's with consideration for global requirements and its impact in the region.
 • Manage and develop the IT human capital  to the assgined function in the region to provide excellence in performance, organizational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management and personal growth.
 • Creates a culture of innovation to foster a competitive advantage in the function via technologies.  Identify IT or Pharma industry processes or technologies that could provide Boehringer Ingelheim with a competitive advantage. Observe the market and looks for new opportunities in technologies or services.

 

Requirements

 

• Executive leader with solid IS and business experience in a regulatory Environment.
