Automation Principal System Engineer

The Position

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Principal Systems Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of Application and Desktop Virtualization. Tasks and responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform.
  • Build reusable modules and playbooks to streamline provisioning and configuration. 
  • Collaborate across teams to embed automation into CI/CD pipelines and cloud operations. 
  • Enhance and support virtual desktop environments (Citrix, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop) in hybrid cloud setups.
  • Maintain and evolve documentation using Confluence and Jira.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation and infrastructure issues across environments. 
  • Ensure security and compliance in automated deployments.
  • Contribute to the lifecycle of infrastructure—from design to operational support.

 

Requirements

Required

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience with Ansible and Terraform in enterprise settings.
  • Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Intune.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms like Citrix, Windows 365, and AVD.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in global, cross-functional teams.

 

Desirable

  • Certifications in Terraform, Ansible, Citrix or Microsoft Azure (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-140).
  • Experience with GitOps, CI/CD tools, Jenkins and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM and ITIL frameworks.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
