District Sales Manager
The Position
We are looking for an experienced District Sales Manager in Budapest, Hungary:
The job holder leads the medical reps in their span of control to achieve best attainable performance, in order to maximize business results. The incumbent implements the global strategy with localized communication tools, ensuring mastering the selling skills and territory management.
Manages, organizes and controls the activity, the efficiency and successfulness of the sales representatives.
Main responsibilities cover the following topics:
Operational tasks
- Ensures the smooth work of the sales representatives.
- Allocates resources – including human resources – in accordance with achieving the goals and the fluent workflow.
- Responsible for the full observance of corporate rules, politics and compliance expectations.
Selling and Coaching Skills
- Ensures the usage of the customer engagement model. Coaches Reps to implement the customer engagement model
Leadership & Management tasks
- Assigns qualitative, business-connected SMART goals for the sales representatives.
- Following up the work of the sales representatives and providing regular feedback about performance.
- Provides the professional development and motivation for the sales representatives.
- Responsible for the obvious, clear communication of commercial activity towards sales representatives and superiors, the qualitative implementation of the tasks, and for meeting the deadlines in his/her and the subordinate’s work.
Handling relationships
- Participates in the forming of the good relationships between the sales team and co-departments. Builds up a relationship with co-workers on the same level based on reciprocity and efficiency.
- Works in close cooperation with the cross-functional teams, as an active part he/she participates in the most efficient achieving of professional goals of the therapeutical area.
Required degree / Education / Experience
- University degree
- At least 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience
- At least 3 years of leading experience
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Type “B” driving license
- Good command of English
- Native Hungarian knowledge
