This role is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and you will be reporting into the Head of Finance HP MIDI.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a key finance business partner to ROPU/BU management and commercial teams.
  • Lead and challenge financial planning, including sales and cost planning across OPUs.
  • Provide transparency into MIDI Center OPEX, challenging the HPC members and the brand teams to ensure spending in line with the business strategy.
  • Deliver management reporting and commentary for period-end and ad-hoc requests.
  • Analyze trends, KPIs, and business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Share guidance on the planning processes, communicate deadlines, act as the first point of contact for HP Finance colleagues in the OPUs.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate reporting standards.
  • Support audit processes and continuous improvement projects.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

  • A strategic and analytical mindset with long-term focus and a curious, inquiring approach.
  • Solid understanding of Accounting and Controlling principles and Boehringer’s internal planning and reporting processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and build trust.
  • A proactive, agile, and accountable attitude — showing intrapreneurship and team spirit across borders.
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Boehringer’s financial systems (SAP, MyPlanning, AfO reports).
