Step into a role where your expertise and commercial mindset can shape the future of animal health in Belgium. As Key Account Manager Animal Health – Belgium at Boehringer Ingelheim, you’ll take the lead in managing high-value partnerships, with a primary focus on the Swine segment. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to support other species within our Animal Health portfolio as business needs evolve.

This position is a field-based role and reports directly to the Head of Key Account and Wholesaler Management AH.  

 

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Take full ownership of strategic customer accounts and drive long-term value creation.
  • Build and execute Strategic Customer Business Plans (SCBPs) that align with client needs and business goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities and deliver compelling, data-driven proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM 

 

  • A strong background In strategic account management and consultative B2B selling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in animal health or agriculture; knowledge of the swine industry is a strong advantage.
  • Business acumen, analytical thinking, and a solid understanding of animal health products.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach with the confidence to work independently and cross-functionally.
