Veterinary Nurse Adviser (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
THE POSITION
As a Veterinary Nurse Adviser, you will actively support Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health business objectives in the UK and Ireland through the provision of expert technical advisory support on all aspects of the use, efficacy and safety of all products in the Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health portfolio to customers, distributors, and other external stakeholders. You will ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance requirements and contribute to the provision of best-in-class customer experience, aligned with the sales, marketing, technical and commercial teams.
This will be a full-time position, for a 12 Month Fixed Term contract. The role can be head office (Bracknell) based (minimum 2 days a week in the office) or remote (home based). Attendance to the head office (Bracknell) for training and occasional meetings will be expected regardless of contract type.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• To provide excellent customer service through the provision of accurate and informed responses to technical enquiries from customers (veterinary professionals, pet owners and professional keepers of animals) through multichannel support (telephone, email, livechat)
• To support the effective management and resolution of customer complaints
• Support the provision of a flea advice service for both pet owners and veterinary professionals
• To support the investigation and reporting of product quality complaints and pharmacovigilance complaints (suspected adverse reactions or suspected lack of expected efficacy). Ensure complete and thorough follow-up with the reporter to explore and resolve issues
• To provide accurate and informed responses to commercial and marketing enquiries by customers, ensuring all administrative responsibilities associated with enquiry resolution are performed
• To manage additional responsibilities and projects associated with the role, in collaboration with other stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS
• Veterinary Nursing Qualification
• Experienced in clinical practice
• A high level of product, technical and disease area knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong planning and prioritisation skills
• Process-oriented
• Analytical and detail oriented
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions within boundaries of responsibility
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in an ever-evolving environment
• Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office
