Project Manager - Process Engineering

As a Project Manager Process Engineering, you will independently lead capital investment projects in the region Europe (France, Italy, UK),), shaping the future of our facilities and contributing to our sustainability goals. Join us and make a difference!
This position can be filled in Ingelheim or Biberach.
This position is part time eligible with 80%.
Tasks & responsibilities
- As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for capital investment projects across the region Europe, managing them independently from the initial concept phase (FEL-1) through to the final handover to the end user.
- You will develop detailed project plans and ensure their successful implementation by working closely with local teams and global stakeholders.
- Compliance with CapEx guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal standards—particularly in the areas of EHS, quality, and technical performance—will be a key part of your role.
- You will maintain comprehensive project documentation, identify and mitigate risks proactively, and provide regular, transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders.
- A strong focus will be placed on integrating sustainable and innovative solutions that align with our SD4G strategy and contribute to achieving carbon neutrality.
- In addition, you will play an active role in shaping and improving global project management standards by sharing your expertise and contributing to best practices.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in project management, ideally in regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceuticals, hospitals, clean rooms, central utility plants)
- In-depth knowledge in process engineering in the fields of pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, food, and brewery production
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of personal responsibility
- Fluency in English; French and Italian language skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally
