We are looking for a motivated post-Doc to support Boehringer Ingelheim Analytical Science and Technologies/ Team Modern Microbial Technologies (MMT).
This position is part time eligible with 80%.
Post Doc: This Position is limited for 2 years.

Tasks & responsibilities
- In your new role as a Post Doc within the Center of Competence ARMM, you will support the screening and selection of alternative and rapid microbial methods, with focus on digitalization and automation.
- Furthermore, you will design and execute studies to evaluate and validate ARMM as well as present scientific results to internal and external stakeholders.
- You will closely collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deploy and harmonize modern microbial methods within BI microbiology network.
- Moreover, vendor management will also be part of your responsibilities.
Requirements
- PhD with a strong background in microbiology or related fields
- Expertise in method validation, statistics, and project management
- Scientific knowledge and demonstrated practical expertise in microbiological analytics, e.g., enzymatic assays, fluorescence imaging techniques, solid flow cytometry and aseptic techniques
- Sound IT knowledge and technical affinity
- Team player with excellent sense of responsibility, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German
