This position has a hybrid setup with approximately 3 days per week on site.
Tasks & responsibilities
- In your new role, you will support the execution of strategic and operational matters of the Computational Innovation (CI) Leadership Team, as a member of the CI Program Management Office.
- You will lead interdepartmental initiatives, guide project and portfolio management by developing and driving implementation of plans and frameworks and report performance outcomes and action plans.
- Furthermore, you will connect high-level scientific and business content and strategic directions to enable decision-making and representation of Computational Innovation in the Boehringer ecosystem and towards senior management through insights and presentations.
- In addition, you will lead operational excellence in Computational Innovation through recommendations and implementing frameworks for departmental operations and business outcomes.
- You will work collaboratively across the global CI organization, interact with all groups to identify, prioritize, and address key operational departmental needs, proactively gather information, and share it in accordance with the departmental plans.
- Finally, you will serve as key contact for relevant activities of the CI department in the Boehringer environment, towards internal and other stakeholders and partners.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in the life sciences/biomedical field with long term experience in strategy consulting or similar role
- Knowledge and affinity for the data/computational field and/or drug development and pharmaceutical R&D business processes beneficial
- Proven track record of project management, organizational skills, problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to convey complex concepts, with ability to set directions and drive change
- Proactive mindset and ability to interact collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and priority stakeholders
