The Position:

As the world leader in the production of innovative medicines, we at Boehringer Ingelheim offer you the opportunity to get to know the many tasks of the Centralized Access Division (i.e. XTA Access). You accompany us at our Ingelheim office and take responsibility for select key global pricing initiatives.

 


You will gain an insight and exposure into the following topics and areas of activities:

 

  • Support the development of pricing strategy and assumption for select brands
    • Supporting pricing analytics and payer research
    • Building pricing and contracting strategies for products at different stages of life cycle

  • Support the execution of global pricing strategy such as
    • Developing global pricing policy framework and approval process
    • Building negotiation strategy and workshops for key markets
    • Building pricing reports

  • Gain exposure to Pricing and Access systems of key global markets, such as Germany, UK, US, China, Japan etc. 

 


Your Profile:

 

  • Student currently enrolled in a master program related to public health or MBA in the EU
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or consulting experience related to market access preferred
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) required
  • Dedicated and team-oriented way of working as well as a high willingness to learn
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Success factors: strong communicator, capability to synthesize large amount of information

 


What we can offer you:

 

  • As a student intern, you can expect a fair expense allowance (payment of the currently valid minimum wage)
  • You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the internship
  • A full-time internship is 37.5 hours a week (a smaller number of hours can be arranged)

 

The duration of the internship is about 3 months. The start of the internship can be made several times a year. The earliest start date is March 2026. Please enter the desired period in your application.
