This position can be filled in Ingelheim or Biberach.
Tasks & responsibilities
- You will define and execute the global technology strategy in alignment with corporate and business objectives.
- Leading cross-functional teams, you will deliver scalable, reliable, and secure technology solutions.
- A key part of your role will be to build and inspire a high-performing global technology management team while fostering collaboration and accountability.
- You will oversee governance frameworks to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and value realization.
- Driving and managing the global technology portfolio, you will take ownership of budgeting, prioritization, and performance tracking.
- Efficiency will be enhanced through global standardization across sites and along the entire value chain from development to commercial production.
- You will champion emerging technologies and digital innovation to strengthen business capabilities and accelerate transformation.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s degree in Process, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Technology
- Longstanding relevant professional experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or biopharmaceutical industry
- Extensive international leadership experience in technology management within global corporate environment
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical production processes and regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, EMA)
- Proven expertise in global project management, change management, and intercultural leadership
- Strong knowledge of engineering systems, automation, infrastructure, and compliance with global standards
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as German, Spanish, or Mandarin are a plus
