EXT. Finished Products Release Analyst

THE POSITION

We are looking for a Finished Products Release Analyst to join our Finished Products Release Team, reporting directly to the Finished Products Release Coordinator.

The position is open to a Quality Control Analyst, who wants to strengthen their experience in Pharmaceutical Quality Control and API release activities.

The ideal candidate has proven expertise in the use of GC, HSGC and GC‑MS, as well as strong proficiency in key analytical techniques and instruments, including HPLC, IR, and other equipment used for finished products testing.

We work in a GMP-regulated environment. On-the-job training and specific technical training will be provided as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Testing API using current pharmacopoeias and current BI Analytic method in place with the application of any associated physical chemical test and instrumental techniques.
  • Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture within the BI philosophy.
  • Observing and complying with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
  • Observing and complying with company Health and Safety Policies.
  • Observing and complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Supporting all QC activities.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school chemistry diploma.
  • At least 2-3 years experience in Quality Control Pharmaceutical Laboratory; skill/experience gained in a similar position.
  • Highly proficient in the use of key analytical equipment as HPLC, Titrators, Spectrophotometers and in particular GC and GC-MS.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment, adhering to strict deadlines.
