Key Account Manager Livestock

We are seeking a motivated and strategic individual to join our Animal Health team. In this role, you will manage and develop relationships with our livestock customers, with a primary focus on the swine sector, while also supporting cattle clients. Your goal will be to build long-term partnerships and implement effective sales strategies.

Key Account Manager Livestock (m/f/d)


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients in the swine sector, while also supporting clients in the cattle sector
  • Drive customer acquisition and maximize sales potential in your region
  • Organize and attend customer events, including trade fairs and conferences
  • Continuously monitor the swine market, gather insights, and identify new opportunities
  • Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory) to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies tailored to the swine sector
  • Contribute to budget planning and monitor ongoing financial targets


Qualifications:

  • Completed academic studies in life sciences or business
  • Several years of experience in sales within the pharmaceutical or animal health industry
  • Strong background in the swine sector is highly advantageous; experience with cattle is also beneficial
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills; proficient in MS Office and digital communication tools (MS Teams)
  • Willingness to travel within Switzerland and internationally
  • Fluent in German and English; French proficiency is a plus
