What to Expect
In this responsible position, you will lead the implementation and measurement of initiatives on sales force effectiveness, including sales training, territory planning/design, objection handling, coaching XP framework, among others. You will collaborate with the Head of TA to drive key field force operations activities across Switzerland, including performance management, reporting, and gathering, structuring, and distilling field insights (INCAP) into actionable strategies. You will stay current on market trends and industry benchmarks, drive internal and external best practices, and act as a center of excellence for consultancy.
Your Responsibilities at a Glance
- Provide strategic planning and direction for sales training to drive the development, implementation, and standardization of effective sales processes, training programs, and materials aligned with business needs and evolving market dynamics
- Contribute to sales and marketing strategies, ensuring they drive value creation and customer impact
- Develop frameworks, guiding principles, analytics, and reporting to enhance the sales process, identify opportunities in the field, and maximize the usage of CRM systems for call planning, account views, new business forecasts, etc.
- Design the selling strategy and targeting approach in conjunction with TA Head CRM, District Sales Managers (DSM), and CEx Head, including resource allocation, promotional grids, reach & frequency
- Monitor the effectiveness of the field force, conduct return on investment analyses on strategic initiatives, health checks of incentives, and SFE KPI monitoring of reach & frequency.
- Provide monthly reports for the local leadership team on key KPIs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness within field force operations
What You Bring
- University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial roles including sales, sales operations, field force effectiveness management, marketing, and/or business analysis
- Strong project management skills and ability to balance competing priorities
- Excellent business analysis capabilities, presentation skills, and structuring concepts
- In-depth understanding of the Pharma market, including key dynamics, competitors, and local regulations
- Demonstrated leadership experience to lead and influence both with and without direct authority, and ability to manage conflicts effectively
- Proficiency in PPT, Excel, Word, Notes, Outlook, and other software
- Growth mindset, accountability, ownership, proactive agility, and intrapreneurship
- Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle tasks efficiently
- Proactive, self-motivated, tenacious, and able to energize, influence, motivate, and inspire others
- Fluent in German and English; any additional language is a plus
