At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are launching the new edition of our 2026 Internship Program, aimed at individuals with enthusiasm, a desire to learn, and a willingness to contribute to our purpose: improving the lives of present and future generations.

The Learning Management Team provides harmonized training support across the entire learning journey, delivering innovative solutions that address global, regional, and local business needs. Acting as trusted solution partners, the team enables impactful learning by supporting training teams through strong cross‑functional collaboration, expert guidance, and agile ways of working.

As a trainee, you will support communication activities that help with the showcase and enable the work of the Learning Management Team. You will learn how learning services are positioned, explained, and promoted to internal stakeholders, and how communication supports a seamless end‑to‑end (E2E) learning journey. With guidance from experienced learning professionals, you will gain hands‑on exposure to planning, drafting, deploying, and measuring communication initiatives that reinforce learning strategies and support training teams across the organization. 

  

What will your day-to-day look like? 

 

  •  You will support communication initiatives that promote Learning Management services, tools, and processes to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the defined Communication Plan for 2026.
  • You will collaborate with learning associates, training content development specialists to gather input and translate it into clear, structured communication materials.
  • You will help draft and update content for multiple channels such as SharePoint sites, newsletters, ad hoc emails, one‑pagers, Viva Engage and case studies
  • You will assist in maintaining communication channels, ensuring content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with team messaging.
  • You will support the deployment of communication plans linked to learning activities and training initiatives.
  • You will learn how communication effectiveness is monitored by supporting basic tracking and reporting of engagement metrics and feedback.
  • You will help adhering to and promoting communication and brand guidelines.

 

What kind of profile are we looking for?

 

  • Education: Student currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Education, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
    Familiarity with digital collaboration or communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint or similar tools) is a plus.
    Interest in AI tools and willingness to learn how AI can support content creation, communication and productivity.
    Interest in learning tools such Adobe Campaign or basic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) to support communication activities.
  • Competencies: Clear written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Innovative mindset with a willingness to propose new ideas and improvements. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups. Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast‑changing environment.
  • Languages: Advanced level of English.
  • Availability: Start date Abril 24th, 2026, with the possibility to sign a university internship agreement for approximately 12 months.
