Integration Engineering Manager
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Integration Engineering Manager to lead a team of integration engineers in designing, developing, and scaling enterprise-grade APIs and integrations. This role will drive the creation of best practices, reusable components, and training programs to upskill IT teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern integration platforms such as SnapLogic, Informatica Cloud, and SAP Integration Suite, and a passion for enabling digital transformation through seamless connectivity.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of integration engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Create a vision for an integration center of excellence (COE) focusing on consulting around architecture and integration best practices, enablement, coaching and upskilling, then transform the team to make this vision a reality
- Define and execute the integration best practices aligned with enterprise architecture and business goals.
- Establish best practice frameworks for API lifecycle management, integration patterns, and data flow security.
- Engineering Excellence
- Architect and oversee the development of scalable, secure, and reusable connectors, components and templates
- Promote the use of low-code/no-code platforms and automation tools to accelerate delivery.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of integration solutions.
- Enablement & Training
- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and documentation to upskill IT departments in integration technologies and best practices.
- Create reusable templates, connectors, and design patterns to standardize integration development.
- Act as a subject matter expert and internal consultant for integration-related initiatives.
- Technology & Tools
- Drive adoption and optimization of platforms such as:
- SnapLogic for intelligent integration and automation
- Informatica Cloud for data integration and governance
- SAP Integration Suite for enterprise-grade connectivity
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend tools to enhance integration capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in integration engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in API design (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), integration architecture, and cloud-native development.
- Hands-on experience with SnapLogic, Informatica Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data flows, security protocols, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with AGILE / SCRUM
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft).
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., SnapLogic Certified, Informatica Specialist, SAP Integration Suite).
