We’re looking for GenAI Solution Engineer to design and develop inhouse AI solutions that generates complete marketing campaigns, from visual assets to strategic roadmaps.
Your focus will be to use artificial intelligence to automate content production and requests from different regions.
You’ll work as part of our IT Marketing & Sales Content Production team, collaborating with internal engineers and managing external vendors to bring this solution, and potentially others, to life. You’ll define the architecture, select the right tools, and guide delivery end to end.
This role is based in our Barcelona IT Hub, where you’ll help build a strategic AI capability in a global pharmaceutical environment with high standards of compliance and quality.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Lead the design, prototyping, and implementation of an AI platform that generates complete marketing campaigns.
- Build, refine, and deploy AI models for content creation (websites, emails, banners) and endtoend marketing strategy development.
- Oversee the technical production of digital assets and manager external vendors.
- Integrate AI capabilities with content planning tools, MLR review systems, DAM platforms, and omnichannel distribution tools.
- Design integration across GenAI models, content systems, data pipelines, and campaign execution tools.
- Ensure all development complies with pharmaceutical governance, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for issue resolution and stakeholder communication across regions.
- Define the architecture and select models, frameworks, and tooling.
- Partner with internal teams and lead collaboration with external technology vendors.
- Proven ability to integrate AI solutions into enterprise workflows and content ecosystems.
Requirements
- AI & Machine Learning Expertise:
- Proven experience working with Generative AI and/or multimodal AI models (text, image, video).
- Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and agent-based AI systems.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and the complete AI model lifecycle (training, deployment, monitoring, retraining).
- Cloud & DevOps Skills:
- Exposure to cloud‑based AI/ML environments, such as AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, Rekognition) or Azure AI services.
- Basic familiarity with MLOps concepts, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of SQL.
- Pharma & Content Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of content production workflows, digital assets, and omnichannel marketing systems is a plus.
- Experience working in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, finance, etc.) is ideal; otherwise, strong ability to operate within governance, compliance, and approval processes.
Language Skills
- Fluent in English, other European language are a plus.
