Senior Technical Sales Representative, Swine

Tasks & responsibilities

 

Responsible for executing the sales/marketing plan and tactics to assure maximum sales and market penetration within guidelines, policies and directives with key targeted customers.

 

- Optimize calls to customers and execution of sales business plan.

- Monitors local market conditions for changes that impact business.

- Develops plans to maximize speaker programs. Adjusts implementation plans on a regular basis (speaker mgmt., advocate development, etc.)

- Manages programs and budgets to stay within standards.

- Identify opportunities that meet both territory and brand tactics.

- Customizes approach for each call on each customer to assess customer needs and increase sales of BI products

- Has excellent understanding of customer priorities/needs and keeps abreast of changes in the local health economy

 

Requirements

 

- Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field, and/or Doctoral degree (eh. PhD, MD) and/or veterinary

- Total at least 3 years experience in a sales capacity of which a minimum of 2 years were in the Animal Health or related industry

- Proven disciplined sales training

- Must be self-motivated, responsible and flexible

- Customer understanding

- Commercial awareness
